The dome valve is the primary isolation and metering valve in dense phase pneumatic conveying systems — the component that controls material discharge from pressure vessels into the conveying pipeline. Designed by STAG AG with 65+ years of refinement, the dome valve provides a full-bore, unobstructed opening when actuated — allowing even abrasive, coarse, or poorly flowing materials to pass without restriction or bridging.

The hemispherical disc seals against a precision-machined seat, providing a dust-tight closure under conveying pressure. Seat and disc are replaceable in service — extending valve life without vessel removal. Available in a range of bore sizes and pressure ratings to suit lean phase and dense phase applications across cement, fly ash, alumina, lime, coke dust, and chemical powder service.
